Trauma holds a widespread presence. It runs rampant in our communities, our neighborhoods, and our families. Unfortunately, many of us have first-hand knowledge of what it's like to be haunted by memories of physical, emotional or sexual abuse, of terrible accidents, or of events in military service, among other things. Despite how prevalent trauma is in our society, a lot of survivors feel very alone in what they've been through, and what they endure on a regular basis. My hope in writing this book was not only to assure survivors and their loved ones that recovery is possible, but to back those claims up with comprehensive details and explanations about how it's done.
Trauma and Resilience: Your Questions Answered is available in hardcover, paperback and e-version, and can be bought at Books-A-Million, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Walmart, and other bookstores.
